# THORChain pricing and fees

Public website and documentation access is free. THORChain swaps have variable network, liquidity, outbound, and optional integrator fees.

## Public website and discovery access

There is no subscription or access charge for this website, its public documentation resources, or its read-only discovery MCP tools. No account, agent registration, or API key is required for those resources.

Public access does not promise unlimited requests or availability. Third-party API providers, wallets, and interfaces may have their own charges, limits, and terms.

## Transaction fees

A swap is a separate on-chain operation. Its cost depends on the assets, amount, liquidity, network conditions, and interface used. There is no single fixed price for every swap.

### Inbound network fee

The source chain charges for submitting the transaction. This is paid through the sending wallet.

### Liquidity fee

The protocol charges for the liquidity used by the swap. The amount depends on the trade and applicable network fee rules.

### Outbound fee

Delivery on the destination chain incurs a fee that covers network costs and protocol overhead.

### Optional affiliate or integrator fee

A wallet or interface may add its own fee. Check the selected provider’s fee breakdown.

## Check the current cost

Review a fresh quote and your wallet’s network-fee estimate before confirming a transaction. Quotes can expire or change. A failed or refunded swap may still incur network or refund fees.

The discovery MCP and in-page resource tools do not trade, sign transactions, move funds, or manage accounts.
